Thumbs up Amputee Vet shown Kilted at his Wedding

I was watching the ABC News just now. They had a story about a vet who lost both his legs in Iraq four years ago. They just did a follow-up story to cover him as he moved on with his life by marrying a lovely girl, who said that she never even noticed his prosthetic legs on their first date.

The clip showed him dancing at his wedding wearing a kilt, with socks and flashes even. One can only wish him years of happiness with his bride and thanks for his service.

Re: Amputee Vet shown Kilted at his Wedding

People like that really make me proud rather than the ones that whinge and whine about their disabilities.

Many years ago I met a guy who was also injured in action and was wheelcahir bound. He got pretty angry when people called him 'disabled' as he swa himself as merely 'less abled'.

I hope they have many happy years together.
