youtube finds... cheaper than ebay finds... maybe

While I'm not generally a big youtube person, I did have to venture on there at the weekend in order to try and figure out replacing my dryer belt... and as things go you get side tracked... So I found these two little clips...

Apparently Bonnie was asked to give a quick rundown of how a kilt is made... I think she did a good job for being put on the spot...

And then I ran across this bloke...

Shows the swish on a double box pleated quite nicely...

    Hmmm, that's interesting.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Re: youtube finds... cheaper than ebay finds... maybe

i was doing a Kiltmaking table at a Celtic festival and a reporter asked me to give a quick explanation of how I make a kilt. It would have taken a lot longer to explain all the detailed steps in making a hand sewn kilt.
I'm happy and thankful that he posted the video on Youtube, But I have no idea why he wrote "knitting" a kilt. That's a funny mistake in wording. Of course, kilts are not knitted.

Very nice Bonnie! I especially like the kilt you are holding at 1:39 into the video!!!

You are a wonderful ambassador for the kilt!

    Best regards,
    Brooke
