"Queen Victoria's Highlanders" (Osprey)?
I'm considering checking out Queen Victoria's Highlanders, by Gerry Embleton and Stuart Reid (Osprey, 2007), from the library. The book blerb says it discusses the tartan uniforms of the Highlander regiments, along with everything else. I'm just not sure if that means there are pictures, which won't help me much, or if the tartans and uniforms, hopefully kilts, are written about in detail.
Has anyone read this book?
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…
