Cabled Sleeveless Pullover
I knitted this for my husband's Christmas present. I made it shorter than usual, to go with his kilts.
The armholes are very deep, making this more like a tabard than a waistcoat.
It is so hard to take photos inside a house, especially with the dog so nosy. She kept running up and trying to pose with my husband.

Extremely nice, I like sweater vests. That would look so wonderful in a burgundy or a nice earth tone spruce. Excellent job there.

Spruce? If I make one in spruce, it's going to be for meeeeeee!
I got the pattern from Desert Rose Designs, then I made changes to give it a bit more texture. All my project notes are on Ravelry.

Okay, the vest is great, but (forgive me!) I really like the hose. Did you knit those also? If so, you might have yet another young man begging your favor!

Yes, I knit the hose, too. They are my own design, with the cuff from Lady Gainford's book. They are in my album, here.

Sweater vests are not my style at all, but I really like your craftsmanship. That is some very nice work!

Here she is, a blonde lab, "Maggie". Steve adopted her from the Hurricane Katrina Animal Rescue. She's very curious and friendly.
