Little help here...
Hi folks!
Firstly don't even lecture me about how UNKILTED! isn't a great name for someone who likes wearing Kilts (6 in my small collection) - there's actually a good reason.
Long story short, i used to be 1 half of a company called KILTED CHAOS, we split up, and i logically became UNKILTED!
Anyway, as a company name, and also lifestyle blog, I like the name and am writing up a description of what I think it means to be UNKILTED. So far i have this spin on it:
"Being UNKILTED means its all on show, nothings hidden, its upfront and out in the open" - good start right?
Anyone out there got any more good ideas on adding to the whole concept of putting a positive spin on the UN part of it.
Oh, if it helps any -I do branding design/consulting - i'm Scottish, and don't take no nonsense, that's kind of why i feel the UN thing works so well. I was always taught to "keep it real" and while it loses me the more corporate clients, it wins me the more down to earth genuine ones - its all good!
Looking forward to posting more on here and hearing your ideas too.

Re: Little help here...
Won't deal with the whole "unkilted" kilted thing, but sincerely hope you are still chaotic. Either way I can tell I like your attitude already.
Welcome to the rabble, from the "occasionally" kilted member from the highlands of northern Kentucky.

I'm sorry, I'm confused, , but Welcome to the forum.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

Isn't it a bit chilly in Scotland to go around unkilted?
Welcome aboard.

Re: Little help here...
First, welcome to the rabble. I'm also a bit lost here but I'll wade in with one point...
"Being UNKILTED means its all on show, nothings hidden, its upfront and out in the open" - good start right?
Umm, not so much. There's a plain double meaning in that text and it may prove off-putting to some, particularly the corporate types you mention already losing. Humor is only funny when everybody gets the joke; in this case, just because "it's all on show" doesn't necessarily mean anybody wants to see it.
Perhaps playing up your Scottish heritage ("Hey, a Scot without a kilt...is that even legal?") might do you better for promoting the company. Even tho' it's cool to have down-to-earth clients, the more staid ones often have the larger amounts of cash.
Just sayin', ya' know?
Welcome again.
