    Lunch yesterday

I went to lunch at the Cobblestone Pub yesterday. Since I had some things to do after lunch, I was dressed casually (kilt, hose, t shirt & fleece). After l ate I went to wash my hands after a very nice pulled pork sandwich.
As I came out of the kilted mans room, I noticed a lady with a big smile. It looked like 3 couples about my age. As I was finishin my drink the ladies came up to my table. The commented how nice it was to see a man in a kilt & asked what tartan it was.
I quite like the attention one gets while kilted.

After the admires left, my companion asked me an odd question. What does a lady wear around a kilted man? I told her, to me its just clothes. No different than if I was wearin jeans or slack. I think it does show that a kilted man looks somewhat better than when panted.

I think you answered your own question.
"My beloved America, thank you for your children. If your children want to become soldiers I will train them. When they are hungry I will feed them. When they are thirsty I will give them water. When they fight for freedom I will lead them. When they are unsteady on the battlefield I will motivate them. If they die on the battlefield I will bury them. So help me God."

    "Panted"...

Lovely word. Could also be taken to be the reaction of the lady with the big smile, of course...
