On this day, one year ago, March 11, 2011, at 14:46 JST, a massive earthquake struck the Tohoku region of Japan. The subsequent tsunami wiped out towns and villages, killing tens of thousands. The ensuing nuclear fallout is still being cleaned up to this day. Please join me and all of Japan's people living around the world in a moment of silence and personal prayer or reflection at 14:46, March 11, your local time. I will be sharing a ceremonial cup of sake with a friend at that time Godspeed and sincere condolences to all those affected in this tragedy. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Jim Dunlop *Edit: Typo in the time (should be 14:46 not 14:26. Sorry for the confusion).
