    Sporran 13

Sporran 13, inspired by a sporran that I saw on ebay. The one end of the strap without the buckle is not finished so that it can be cut to length for whoever ends up with it.

And before I'm asked, I still don't have a good source for the pin lock I used on this. The closest I got is a place in Australia that is asking $6 a piece and a $30.00 minimum shipping cost.

I can put you onto the guy who made the buckle if you are interested.

I like the industrial/steampunk appearance. Really like the side stitching and buckle on the strap.
I tend to make mine very traditional in appearance.
Let me know if you ever plan on selling some.

    Very nice work!

That's a very nice thing and the stitching is bang-on. Did you do that by hand or machine? Very impressive. One other quick question, where did you get that type of pin-closing? I'm after one of those brass jobbies to replace a shiny silver one on a sporran I have but I can't find them anywhere.

Thanks! It is all hand stiched. I'd like to have a sewing machine someday. The pin closure I found by chance on eBay. The only place I have found them on the internet is a place in Australia, and for considerably more (with shipping) than what I had paid. Here is the link:

Thanks again for the kind words.

Very good. Looks a unique. Those holes not only looking nice; they offer ventilation, too.

    You're real master!
