Found two thrift store jackets to convert to kilt jackets, with the wife's supervision of course. Who could resist a black 100% cashmere for $12.00 and a checked PV for $4.00.

Found a vest for $15.00, had to take it in a bit and I will be changing the buttons to match the jacket.[IMG][/IMG]

I think there is some wisdom in knowing one's limits. I've seen some of VMAC3205's conversions before and she always does a good job. Some other DIY work, however, is not as deserving of praise...
