Hey all, I'm new to the forum......anyone planning to attend the Fair Hill Scottish games in Fair Hill, Maryland......May 19th?....
I will be there with the lads.
Sounds good....I'll post some pix of me....maybe we can meet up for a brew....
I may make it over from Jersey if the weather is fine
just watched the local news....looks like an overcast day....but no rain
I thought Fair Hill was in Cork? I live in MD, but have never heard of a Fair Hill outside of the one in Ireland. What part of the state is it in? ETA: I've found it on the map. It's practically in Newark, Delaware! I think it is actually nearer to New Jersey than to my part of Maryland. Too far, I'm afraid.

Actually, it's only about 15 miles northwest of Elkton, MD......
Great day ahead......been looking forward to it........
and....FYI.....their website is http://www.fairhillscottishgames.org
Just got back from the games. As always, the lads were a great hit. Listen to Burning Bridget Clarey and Barleyjuice. Both were fantastic. We also had Charlie Zahm do a marvelous job singing the national anthem. Sorry I missed anyone, but the lads had their fans and I was busy explaining all about them.
