    My first kilt

I finished my first kilt. This one is for my son and is practice for a traditional tartan. I hope the photo comes through. I haven't done this before.

I learned so much! I've started on my second one--an ACU camo for my grandson.

    Looks good.

Starting plain helps you to learn technique which will hopefully serve you well when you come to a tartan one.

If you did that well on a solid color kilt for your first try, I can't wait to see your work with actual tartan. Make sure you post pics. Congratulations!
