We are coming up on the New Hampshire Highland Games at Loon Mountain in Lincoln, N.H. September 21, 22, 23rd. This is one of the great games here in North America with three days of everything Scottish one could want. website for info on entertainment etc. http://www.nhscot.org/ We've had XMarks meet ups in the past and I will once again be at the Buchanan Tent in the Clan Village for any of the rabble who want to stop by and say hello. When I get a sense of who else is coming and when, we'll schedule a rabble group photo. We also host a pot luck dinner at the Masonic Lodge in Woodstock just down the road. It is Saturday evening at 6:00 PM. Any one is welcome for a dram, some great home cooking and a bit of a ceilidh. Sadly, we'll be in Hawaii by the time this year's games come around. It's been far too long since we've made it up to NHHG -- we last attended during their temporary exile to the state fairgrounds in Hopkinton -- so we'll have to make it a priority for 2013.

One of these days I'll get to this event! I'll be in the area for the Columbus Day week, but my budget never allows for two trips so close together.
