Kilt Advice
I'm sort of stressed as to what my options are for my Saffron Kilt. Since I was banking on several purchases from Kiltmart, and their website has been down for more than a week, i need a bit of advice.
I have an SWK Saffron Kilt. I'll be wearing a super basic off color Highland Shirt. I don't think I'd even go as far as to call it a Jaccobite shirt. Everything after that is a mystery to me.
From another recommendation you guys gave me, i have a great pair of Kilt Hose and Yellow Kilt Flash. I'll be wearing a very dark brown pair of Doc Martens. I have two beautiful bronzish colored brooches that I'll be wearing for a Kilt Pin and Pin for my Fly Plaid.
Where I've struck out is with the Belt. Sportkilt has a super light colored brown belt that I've considered. The issue is that I can't find Sporran Chain hangers (with rear leather clasps) that look even remotely close to a solid match with that belt. A set would be nice. Recommendations?
Sporran recommendations?
I like the look of this one since I'll be wearing allot of washed Fall colors, nothing to loud.

If I can knock those two areas out than I'm good to go. I understand how important the Sporran can be within an outfit. Unfortunately I just haven't seen anything for under $150 that didn't come with a super cheap looking chrome looking chain link.

Any help would be great. My event is on the 29th so I'm sort of running out of time.
Thanks!

Not sure how old you are or where you live or what your event is, so these suggestions are general.
You don't need a belt with a kilt. A sporran with a leather sporran strap is fine. If your budget is tight check out the thin ladies belts in the big box stores as possible sporran straps.
You seek options to the on line middlemen vendors and check out the offerings of the craftsmen direct, or the kilt vendors that stock sporrans too. If you're at the low end of the price range most everyone has them - no need to count on one vendor.
Amerikilts offers a basic, affordable, but high quality kilt belt with buckle. Check it out.
You don't need a sporran either - you can wear a vest in lieu of a sporran if it has enough pockets - or even a bomber style jacket depending upon your local weather conditions.
Depending upon where you live there may be retail vendors of things Scottish where you can handle the goods an save the shipping costs. Google or check your yellow pages.
Also, for sporrans don't overlook the Native American and ren faire vendors. Have some great pouches that work well as sporrans that were purchased from ren faire and Native American craftsmen.

I highly recommend Mojo Leathers: http://www.mojoleather.com/
Their basic bridle leather sporran is very nice, comes in brown and black, and is simple and nice. You can also get fancier sporrans. They have belts to match, sporran straps too. Good quality stuff.

Second the no need for a belt comment. If you can't find one you like, keep looking and don't settle.
Most of the vendors on this site have inexpensive sporrans that will will great at less than $150. I would also look for a nice leather sporran strap (mojo leather already suggested--i got mine from there and love it).
In fact, my favorite sporran and strap together were less than $150 and both are well crafted and look great. .Of course, my style is subtle (well...as subtle as one can be in a kilt) so I tend to go for basic designs, nothing flashy or flamboyant.

I might suggest Don at Wyvern leather works. As all is made to order the belt, sporran, hangers or belt can all be dyed to match. I went this way for my daywear set and haven't regretted one dime spent. I'm sure his prices have gone up since sporran #28, but for the quality you get I feel it a bargain.
