UT Kilts?
Has anyone here had any experience with UTKilts? Every time I check their website all I get are out of stock options.
They have a very nice utility kilt that I like. http://www.utkilts.com/ut-deluxe-dar...y-modern-kilt/
Any info is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I would like to clear up what may be a bit confusing for some of our older members.
One of our advertisers two years ago was a company called UTKilts. This company was run by two guys from N. Wales. Their kilts were of their own design but manufactured by a company in Pakistan.
It seems that when the original UTKilts folded the Pakistani company continued to produce these designs with the same UTKilt logos.
I do not know if the kilts sold by this UTKilts are the same but they are similar looking. But the two UTKilts companies are not the same.

Steve , I think you might be getting confused with UNION kilts, they are based in Wales in the UK, and they have undergone some major changes recently, they produced a range or largely modern denim kilts , but also some leather ones as well, even their own tartan one as well.
Richard- the owner- is still around, I get mailings from him via Facebook.
The UT kilts that is think the OP is asking about is the one that Brice runs as mentioned by Matty

No Paul, I am not confusing the original UTKilts with Union Kilts. Both were from wales. But while Union Kilts is still around the other UTKilts seems to have been a flash in the pan. I can find no mention of them with a google search.

At this moment, I'm wearing a Wild Kilt I purchased in June or July from the current UTKilt. It's run by a Brice Lythgoe, if I remember his name correctly. He's based out of Utah. The kilts are indeed made in Pakistan. It makes for a decent utility kilt. It's not as heavy as my Utilikilt Workman, but it's wonderful in the heat and humidity of the summer. I don't know anything about the previous incarnation of UTKilt, but I've only been around here since June.

Those who have been around X Marks for a few years know the owner of UT Kilts by his username here bricekolob. He has not logged on since last Nov. though.

I was mainly wondering about the quality of his products because they seemed to be too good to be true. And the fact that he offers 1 day shipping for off the rack kilts. Oh well. Looks like I will try to stop at Stillwater Kilts in Minneapolis after I get back from Alaska next month.

I havent talked with Brice since spring this year. Based on our conversations, I bought a khaki & OD kilt.
I am satisfied with the quality of mine enough that I might get another.
