I decided to kilt up today and was running around with the missus doing errands. I'm in Wal mart of all places when this giant 6'6" 350 guy walks up next to me and is apparently trying to get my goat a little to see how I'll react. He says "nice looking skirt" and I look him up and down and smile at him and reply "yes isn't it" (I'm 5' 10" 180). He looks at me a second and I'm just looking back at him and then he says "it takes a lot of balls to wear something like that around here". I smile again and reply "yes it does doesn't it". He then looks at me a couple more seconds and then laughs and says that he and his friends have done the Highland games a couple times and worn one too. I laugh again and we wish each other a good afternoon. The same afternoon a nice elderly lady approaches me and tells me how nice I look in my kilt. Interesting day..
