Rocked my new 5.11 Kilt this weekend

Hello from Roswell, NM. Just wanted to pass on that I rocked my new tan 5.11 kilt and Stillwater kilts nylon sporran all this weekend. I have 2 other nontrads, an original UtiliKilt and a generic tan mocker, and I have to say that this one is my favorite of the three. I found wearing the sporran, that the cargo pockets were unnessesary, but appreciated the fact they were there nonetheless. I have reached the age where I have to wear readers constantly, and the pockets allowed me to slip the glasses case in unnoticeably. I will one day devote the effort to figuring out how to post pics, so I apologise in advance for their lack. Cleanup was so easy as to hardly be believed. Turn insideout, wash in cold water, tumble dry and hang. The material is the same Taclite fabric that I wear at work. All in all a great first run.

Ran across this thread and thought I would post a couple of photos from a family outing around Columbus Day. Hiked Union Peak in Crater Lake NP here in Oregon with my 5.11. At about 7700 ft, just enough to pick up some snow. . Windy and spitting snow, a couple of inches on top. Kilt had worked down scrambling up due to slick wonder fiber under garments.

    Good on you.

In this opinion, the 5.11 TDK is perhaps the best bargain in and certainly fun-est with all the pockets, of the cheap solid hue kilts. Weird pleats, but hey they were bold and 5.11 makes good stuff.

Bug 5.11 about it. They were shocked by the initial demand for what was an April Fool's joke. If they see a chance to make a shekel, they may take it. But they have to believe there is an on-going demand.

    Couldn't hurt.

Hi, is there any progress of this issue? I missed the offer, but I really love to have one.
