    Kilt In Coronation Street

'The Kilt' made an appearance in Coronation Street last night when 'Brian' turned up at the Rovers Return's New Year's Eve 'do' wearing full evening dress. One of the tipsy ladies tried to lift his kilt, and of course with the weight of cloth and all the pleats she didn't succeed, and when asked 'The question' he replied "I'm wearing my Jockies, it's cold outside". - Well done ITV.

Although it is always good to see kilts on mainstream and prime-time television, I am unfortunately allergic to soap operas.

I too suffer the same predicament with Eastenders. However that does mean that I get to watch the rugby as a trade.

I seem to remember one of the Mitchells was getting married in a kilt so even Albert Square is not exempt. Fortunately I have been spared the 'soaps' this week courtesy of Hogmanay celebrations.

I let my wife watch whatever she wants, whenever she wants... so long as it doesn't clash with Rugby. Fortunately she doesn't like soaps either...
