The Power of Positive Thinking ...

I have a favor to ask of the rabble. I'm not a long time member of the forum and frankly I take a lot more from here than I contribute but I'd deeply appreciate everyone's help.

My youngest daughter is having a rough time. She's been in the hospital for a week now and will likely be there for a good while longer. What I ask is that you just send some positive thoughts her way.

I have no doubt that the combined good wishes from the X Marks crowd contributed to Panache's recovery following his recent medical misadventure! Good people thinking good thoughts can only help.

    Thank you all.

    Hi Mike,
Hope things go well for her and she has a speedy recovery.

As we Buddhits say - May the Triple Gems bless her, and I'll say a prayer for her.

Scout, distraction therapy is proven to work. You don't say how old your girl is, but colouring books are a great way of getting a person to stop thinking of their condition. I have seen it work on 17 year old boys. While they were making their pictures of black unicorns with death-ray eyes, they weren't feeling the pain.

But Nintendo DS, might do the job equally as well.

It is you that must stay strong, light, bright. Children will feed off your anxiety.

    This too will pass.

    Regards

    Chas
