    Question Sporran, belt and strap...

    sporran.jpgbelt.jpgstrap.jpg

My husband needs accessoires for his new kilt, a 8 yard medium weight grey highlander.
And I´m thinking about a combination of this.
What do you more experienced kilt wearers think? Will it work?
The belt is 2" wide. Is that to small or ok?
All three things will cost 119.50£ . Do you think its worth the money? Its from a shop called http://www.centaurdesign.co.uk
Please tell me what you think.

I would say that it would all go very well with your husband's kilt. Looks good to me.

    Hi Rebeka,

    I wear a 2" wide belt - I don't think it is too narrow.

They are hand-crafted items and I believe that £119 is a reasonable price.

    Regards

    Chas

    These items look good.

One small thing to think about. That sporran won't be easy to close with one hand. If you don't think that is going to be a problem then all's well.

He is very determined about what sporran he wants and it has to be one with this kind of buckle.
He has an other one with a regular snap button and he hates it. So he talked about one like this one and thats the only one that will do for him.

    Hi Rebeka

I had a custom made belt and sporran straps made by Centaur Design. I went for a 3" belt as I am a big chap, but 2" inches is fine. Centaur design are an excellent company to deal with so you can't go wrong.

    Here's a link to mine.
