50th Wedding Anniversary
My wife Phyllis and I are celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary here at the Radisson
Hotel in Merrillville Indiana. Our favorite kilt rock band Mother Grove is performing at
T.J. Maloneys, an "in house" pub here at the Radisson. It has been a great week which
started Sunday with a rock consert in Fort Wayne with Journey and Lover Boy and around
13,000 in attendence. Of course I was kilted in a MacEvil Tartan Box Pleat that I finished
the week before. I had more pictures taken and positive comments than I can count.
Anything from "Great kilt!" to "Can I take you home with me?" and all the in between.
We are friends with the band members of Journey as our daughter has been friends with
and does the website for Jonathon Cain, keyboards, guitar and vocals in the band.
We are fortunate that Jon gets us our tickets and VIP passes.
Tonight I will be wearing my Maclaine of Lochbuie Modern tank. I will try to post pictures
if I can make it work. Never have much luck at that. Our daughter, Rhonda will be with us
tonight so I will get her to takes pictures.
I truely do love this fine lady and look forward to being together for another 50 years.

Larry: Congratulations to you and Phyllis on a half century of marriage! Clearly, she truly loves you, too. What tremendous history that must be with myriad memories. May your next half century be even better.

I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Only a wee bit behind you. Congratulations!

Congrats to you and yours. My Mrs. and I are coming up on 9 years this summer, and if the next 9 years fly by as fast as the first 9, we'll be old before you know it!
