Meatloaf "2 out of three ain't bad" I suppose

Today started well - we bought Puff, our new pet bearded dragon, we got an invite to the wedding reception for the son of one of our cousins...

and I got told I might be made redundant at work.
Being philosophical, at least I've got my kilt to wear to the reception.

Good luck with the work. That is a constant source of anxiety for so many of us. Kilts do bring the blood pressure down a notch or two, though.

Sorry to hear that, man! I've been on the wrong end of those things a number of times. I hope it all works out for you. I remember Terry Wogan saying something like, "if he'd never been fired from the bank, he'd still be working there". This could be a good thing!

    good luck!

Good luck on the job. I've been there too and it sucks. If the White House and Congress let sequestration starts next month I may be joining you.

Thanks for the supportive comments folks. As I unfortunatley suffer from depression, I have to look at the positives - my wife and children, the friendship of people on here etc.

Chin up, sorry to hear about the job. I was there for about 3 Weeks about 2 months ago. 3 days to years without a job can play mind games. But i must agree with tulloch, the kilt helps out. Listen u can always start a small company & a kilt uniform and be that extra special thing to drum up business. Good luck! Cheers Wil
