Looking forward to attending The 20th Anniversary Reunion Concert of the four original members of Seven Nations, April 5th at Tartan Day South Festival.
Any other 7N’s fans there?

I’m a big fan of Neil Anderson, too. He is the reason, I like Rathkeltair so much. Nick Waston of Rathkeltair was also a founding member with 7N before its name change in '97. I first heard them at the now defunct Fredericksburg Highland Games in '98.
That said, young Will MacMorran is quite a talented piper and overall musician. I believe I am correct in saying he is Kirk MacLeod’s son. As I recall Kirk introduced him as such at a local tavern performance here in Fredericksburg, although Will hails from Bristol, VA and not Florida.

Sorry to see another band I'd like to see not making it to the Left Coast....recent email with someone who does bookings told me it is very difficult because they are frequently told this is the date take it or leave it because of the logistics.

The 98 Highlands games was the first time I saw 7N also. Then I moved to Colorado and have seen them 4 or 5 times but not in the last 6 years. Hope they come back soon.
I listened to the link and liked what I heard but was surprised that there was a second 7 Nation (group) I expected to hear traditional Aboriginal music from my own people, the original Seven Nations comprising of multiple band of Mohawks, Algonkians, Hurons and Abenakis, that were Catholic Aboriginal allies of the French.
The music was still good though thanks for the link.
