Bad link within avatar

Here's a strange one, that I found just by chance. I wanted a closer look at one member's avatar, so I clicked on the photo. I was taken to a different member's profile page. The user name is similar, but definitely a different person.

I clicked on Spc. Scott's avatar, in this post.

It takes me to the user profile of English John Scott -- although now that I look at the URL, it says "spc-scott."

Wonder what Spc. Scott gets when he clicks on his own User CP link?

Sydnie, there is a bug in vBforum, the software that is used to run Xmarks, that has an issue when you try to follow the link to a user's profile, if that user has a punctuation character in their user name. We are trying to find a fix for it.

Ah, probably akin to the search function that doesn't like punctuation either. Thanks for the answers (inquiring minds and all that), good luck with the fix!
