How do you guys wear your clan badge on a flat cap?
I've been wearing kilts and flat caps for awhile now, but I've recently come into possession of a badge. I never had one before because they're usually too far out of my preferred spending range. I want to wear it on my flat cap, but I'm not too sure how to put it on well.

Can't say I've ever seen a badge worn on a flat cap. I'm sure it's been done, but I've never seen one. Typically it's only done with Balmorals, Glengarries, and other headwear that's made with a cockade for wearing a badge.

There's really no place to wear a clan badge on a flatcap. Not surprising considering it's not highland headwear. I do know a guy who wears a kilt pin horizontally on the side of his flatcap, but to me, it seems....not right. If you want to wear a clan badge on yer noggin, I recommend a balmoral. It isn't radically different from a flatcap if you think about it, and they're made to display a badge at the left temple.

There is a longer answer, but the world is not ready for total meltdown.

I wouldn't wear one on a flat cap. As others have said, there is no place to affix it, and it would just end up looking goofy and out of place. Plus the flat cap doesn't really call for badge to be worn on it.
If you absolutely must have a clan crest on your flat cap, I'd find one of those small quarter sized ones that some vendors carry and use that one.

There it is, well put! I don't recall ever seeing such a thing.
There's one exception: there's a guy I know who wears a flat cap that's covered with various pins across the top: his old Army pins, Disney pins, and what not. He might even have a clan badge on there, I wouldn't be surprised.

I am all for the flat cap, but I can't imagine it looking anything other than out of place with a clan badge.
