Dirk!
I bought a dirk today from Mr. Pat Tougher, collector and proprietor of Scottish Sword and Shield. It's a simple dirk, but it's exactly what I was looking for.

Mr Tougher lives locally, and was kind enough to extend his hospitality to me and the wife. His collection of swords, dirks, and the like is impressive. If you're looking for an accessory for your uniform, or if you're an avid collector, give him a look. His wares can be viewed at:

Cheers!

What an absolutely beautiful, simple, classic bit of workmanship! Congratulations.

A lovely piece.

Simple, classic and elegant. Like it . . . a lot.

Ah, the childhood game where the alternative to being stabbed is learning to play the bagpipes.
But seriously, that is a lovely dirk - congratulations!
