Question about "New Posts"
I started a new thread last night under "Hints and tips from Barb T" (one on moving buckles), but it never appeared in the list of New Posts, and the replies haven't appeared either. Any idea why??

I saw it there earlier today. Of course, one I had opened the thread it disappeared.

Barb, this isn't a technical or official answer, just personal experience, but until somebody other than yourself posts on your thread, it's not "new" to you, only "new" to everybody else. That means that you won't see it in the "new" listing, but they will because they haven't had it open yet. At least that's what happens to me.

I couldn't find it under Today's Posts/New Posts either. I had to go searching for it and found it in the forum listings. Also my Today's/New Posts link either is not refreshing properly or maybe there hasn't been a whole lot of traffic on the website. Dunno...

It's worked ok for me today. I first saw Barb's initial post as a "new post", and her thread has again been listed each time (that I've looked) for each reply so far.

Father Bill is correct....when you click on the NEW POSTS link, you see the recently updated posts at the top and then everyone else's posts that have not been updated.
The discussion can be found by going back to the FORUM link at the top then PROFESSIONAL KILTMAKERS HINTS AND TIPS then HINTS AND TIPS FROM BARB T...or use the link above.
