Fringe on your apron or no fringe?

Do you prefer a fringed apron or a non-fringed apron on your traditional (tartan OR tweed) kilt?

Presumably you mean a traditional tartan or tweed kilt Bren, rather than a Utilikilt, leather, altkilt, or any other of contemporary version?

Oh! Crap! Yes. I did mean traditional kilts. Sorry. MUGS aren't on my radar at all and when I think "kilt" I pretty much only think of traditional kilts (tartan or tweed). My apologies, gents. Duly edited.

Even with Tartan kilts. On some, for some purposes I prefer no fringe. On my Tartans for more formal occasions I prefer fringe.

Fringe is not high on my priority list. In fact I have no preference. Individual kilts that I own have zero, one, or multiple fringes. They all look nice.

Matt makes his kilts without fringe unless you request it and pay an extra $15. And, I think it is only a single fringe. Historically, kilts were first made without a fringe. For details see

I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.
