    Homemade weights

Any way we could start a picture thread of everyone's homemade weights? I think it would be helpful to some of us new guys for ideas.

    Thanks.

I am sure that Alan H has threads in the Athletic sub forum that shows how he makes training weights and other assorted training equipment. Cheers.

D handles are a challenge. You can buy them from the Old Celt, or if you know someone who welds, you can schmooze them into making one for you. Ring handles are a bit easier, the Old Celt also sells ring handles. You can find The Old Celt at http://www.nasgaweb.com look for the link near the top of the page. Some hardware stores also sell fairly large galvanized steel rings. They need to be at least 5 inches in diameter to be comfortable, in my experience...well, unless you have pretty small hands.
