Kilt pin damage
A while back there was some mention of the damage repeated removal and replacement of a kilt pin does to the fabric. I was thinking that adding a small piece of fusable interfacing on the underside at that location might well minimize the damage. Fusable interfacing is nonwoven so it doesn't stretch and would give the fabric a great deal of support. Being fused to the fabric with a hot iron it would prevent the threads from fraying and raveling.
