    Too Many Groceries?

I recognize that several X Markers are Gentlemen of Substance, but I thought there were also several in the range of 38-40 regular. I have had a few meals since my waistline matched a 40 R, but summer time is exercise time and I can always hope. Meanwhile, a pretty nice looking 40R black velvet Montrose just ended on That Internet Auction Site with no bids- starting at 50GBP. Is everyone else getting to be as fat as I am? Or has the Great Sheriffmuir Marketing Plan succeeded that well?

    Perhaps they will relist...

Elsie Stuehmeyer (The art of kiltmaking book) told me that 40" waist 44" hips were what she (after 50 + years of kilt making) considered the "average" kilt size.

If that's the case, I'm finally considered average by somebody... Is the average height 5 foot 6 inches?
    Damn, I'm still fat.

42R here, but 44R for UK-crafted jackets. Good deal for someone smaller...
