My son has choosen to join

Well, my son this weekend gave me his measurements what he wanted and where he wanted me to order from and gave me the money for his first kilt. His choice Blackwatch 8yd acrylic from UT kilts, I asked him why and he said he went through my kilts and saw my Stillwater Standard and my Stillwater Economy and like the look of the standard pleats but didn't that much money. He told me the reviews were good and that his size was sold out, but he emailed Brice and he found one for him. What could I say, I ordered it

Good for him. I'm trying to get my partner interested in a tartan skirt or dress to wear when we go to events together, but in spite of the fact she has Scottish ancestry through both parents, we can't seem to find a tartan she likes.

Is there anywhere online where a large number of tartans can be seen at once, without having to put in a name to separately see each one? She doesn't care for any we've pulled up by name, so far.

Just one of many possibilities would be on buyakilt.com you can go through a lot of tartans from a to z. Good luck

    Edit:

My son has also elected to join the ranks of the kilted. While at the Bellingham games, I had him taped (I didn't have one in my sporran) and we ordered 4 yds of double width 13oz MacLean Hunting (Ancient) tartan. Once it arrives, I'll be stitching his kilt: photos to follow.

Another good link to see over a hundred tartans on one page is:
