How large is your kilt addiction?

How many kilts do you own? just checking. Currently I own 4 Stillwater kilts, 4 Sportkilts, 2 "raggy e-bay music dealer things, 1 greatkilt from The Shetland Piper, 1 Utilikilt, 1 Amerikilt, and 1 BearKilt. Unfortunately, the Utilikilt, Amerikilt, and the BearKilt don't fit now due to a reduction in girth... (on my part, not the kilts!) keep a watch on e-bay if you are interested.

I would rather my kilts not fit from a reduction in girth than the alternative!

I have one Trad Clan Hannay 16 0z 8 yd from LochCarron, one Sportkilt Royal Cockburn, and one Victory Kilt Carhart Brown from USA Kilts.

It isnt my addiction that is lacking but my wallet!

I currently own 4. (Although I would propose that my wool kilts are each worth 2+ utility kilts.) Quality is just as important as quantity, right?

why use ebay. Bear has a used kilts section on his page where people can advertise and sell their used kilts. check it out http://www.bearkilts.com/usedkilts.html

My addiction is the same as any addiction, if I don't wear a kilt for a day or more I go into withdrawal.

I'm still waiting for my first to arrive.
It will be a 16 oz 4 yard casual kilt in Morrison green from www.mcrok.com.
I am hoping for it to arrive in time for my birthday next week.
After it arrives and I can make sure that the measurements I gave were accurate or can adjust them if need be I will order another 16 oz 4 yard casual kilt from www.mcrok.comthis time in the Spirit of Scotland tartan, and a 4 yard casual in the Irish National tartan from www.irishkilts.net.

    2 "traditional" -the expensive kind!
    2 USAKilts (1 casual, 1 traditional)
    1 Utilikilt
    1 Sportkilt
    6 Camo (self made-blue/forest/desert/midnight/fall/rust)
    1 painter/workmans kilt (self made)
1 weathered Morrison sport (self made)
1 dress solid black (self made)
    1 black denium (self made)

    Planning to make
    1 Rob Roy
    1 MacDonald Traditional
    1 Caldonian
    1 Cambell Modern

And anything else I can find fabric for that i like!

I chose to think of it not as an addiction but as a condition...

I know it's not fair, but too many to count. It's fun to get a wild hair and make a kilt for the weekend!

    Beyond my USAKilts...

    1) AmeriKilt
    2) BearKilt (Grizzly)
    Arise. Kill. Eat.

That's not fair at all, Carbomb, but more power to ya! I currently have a dozen, two of which are utilikilts, and the rest are home-made, mostly plaid, but a couple that aren't. Most of the home-made ones are flannel, simply because they're rather comfortable, and the plaid looks good. I haven't exceeded my number of trousers yet, but I'm getting there!
