Where is Jock Scot?
I can't help but notice that our friend Jock has not posted since 29th August. Hopefully he is busy hunting, shooting and fishing and hasn't had time to bestow worldly words of wisdom upon us. Has anyone heard from him lately? He is sorely missed.

I haven't heard from Jock, yet I'm sure he is fine. More than likely doing what you so aptly described, Simon...before winter approaches there in the Highlands. The Cairngorms and surrounding hills have received their first dusting of snow.

Kyle and Tim. I sincerely hope that is the case. Hopefully he will be back ere long berating us for wearing flat caps, rubber chicken sporrans and garters that double for windsocks in a stiff breeze .

Jock had best be out along a local stream, lining up salmon in his creel, or he's in BIG trouble with us all when he gets back! LOL

I recall him mentioning a while back that he has been quite busy as of late with his farm, fishing, and the grouse hunting.
He'll turn up. He always does. Just wear your kilt around your hips and scrunch down your white hose while donning your flatcap.

I hope he's ok and that everyone is correct that he is out fishing or hunting. This place isn't the same without him.

Just reporting in, I am fine, so worry not, but thank you for your concern. Yes, you are all quite right I am doing all sorts of " rule 11" stuff and wetting a line too, but thus far no hunting(horses and hounds)----a bit early for that----but give me time! I am not sure that I can keep up the rather hectic pace that I have been going at for the last week or so, but "vintage" grouse years do not occur too often, so I am doing my best!
Got to dash, catch up with you all ---------er ,--------well--------sometime!.
