Slow response IOS 7.02
I have noticed that since I upgraded to IOS 7.02 that sometimes the response time to access the forum is very slow, is this a particular problem with the IOS software! I don't have this problem with accessing any other website.

Google IOS 7 and look for articles about turning off notifications for various Apps....your device should perk right up after you do a little clean up.

If you're talking about today in particular, I've had VERY slow load times, and I'm on a cable modem.

Nothing to do with the US Government shut-down, is it?

Warning NSA humor.
Actually shutdown should speed things up. Less time routing through certain servers.
Or maybe that was that like a joke, just not funny.

Serious question. Had lunch with my brother today. He researches genetics in the field of cancer, and one of his tools is a website called (I think) DocuMed that links to any number of health/medical research papers. It appears there is a notice on DocuMed warning that service may be a little slower due to the shutdown.
Kindly explain how one is to understand

I run Windows 7 on a capable PC. In the last couple of days I also have experienced occasional degradation in XMTS response time. I have only experienced it on XMTS, not on any other of many web sites I visit. So, I just assumed it was a (hopefully temporary) problem with the XMTS server(s). It has not happened today, so far. Knock on head.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

That's exactly what I get John. No problem on any other site just Xmarks.

Well, I must say that I've not had any problems with XMTS lately, either on my desktop with Windows XP or my laptop with Windows 8. Everything is good, with good response times. I have seen though, Simon, (on another website that I frequent), a lot of members having problems with iOS 7.02, which I don't use so I can't comment on.
