    An Excellent Combination

I had the great pleasure to premier my Barb Tewksbury 'tank' and an Artificier brass cantle sporran at a local Steampunk convention this weekend. The photo doesn't do either the kilt or the sporran justice, but I got many compliments on the combination. The kilt is amazingly comfortable and you hardly know the sporran is there.

Tartan is Logan/MacLennan and Barb pleated it so there's a nice 'flash' when you walk. http://www.lochcarron.com/tartanstrome/logan.html

Got to meet Artificer in person as well.

Coincidentally, I have another kilt from Barb in the works and some more leather work in the pipeline.

Just a quick P.S. to my post. I also wanted to mention that the super vest came from USAKilts and the jacket was a incredible purchase I lucked out on the Internet.

I've also included two pleating test shots the Barb sent me. It shows off the tartan much better (as well as the flash). Cheers!

Handsome outfit! You look very dapper. Congratulations. Is that a reflection of the cantle produced by the flash on the wall?
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.
