I issued a challenge

Hell-o all,

I am on the board of a social club, and tonight we had a board meeting. Of the four guys on the board I am the only one kilted. Although all the other guys have mentioned that they want to wear kilts, no one has followed up on it. So at the end of the meeting under other business I challenged the rest of the board to become kilted by the end of August.

They were given information packets, of all the kilt makers that I know of (primarily from you guys). We shall see what develops.

It's funny, some of the guys in the club wear kilts (at least to the functions), so I am wondering about the hesitation of the others on the board. Oh well life goes on regardless.

My wife and I just bought our first place, and I am planning to join the strata council. I wonder what they will make of me in my kilts, as I will definetly be wearing them there.

It is a great conversation starter. It seems that you become an authority on everything. (You know the kilt confidence thing). It definetly is one thing that sets you a part, which really is not a bad thing.

Good luck on your new house and experiencing the joys of home ownership, that too is well worth the endeavor.
