A Statement - then silence!
Hi everyone!
Just to let you know that yesterday (15th May) marked the fifth Anniversary of my giving up trousers for good. I don't even possess a pair nowadays.
Also, I will probably be absent from the Internet for about a week as I am in the throes of transferring to Broadband - and British Telecom and AOL seem not to be working together to provide it for me. My dedicated line for the computer has already been cut off (so this is costing me serious money by the minute!!) and AOL are probably not delivering my new modem, etc. until the end of next week. As from today (Sunday) therefore it is unlikely that I will be able to receive or send any E-mails, or scan these kilt forums until the new equipment has been delivered and installed.
I'll miss you guys!

Larry, I came back from a weekend away to find that lighting caused a power surge that knocked out my modem.
I was real worried till I found that it could be reconfigured to work again.
BTW nice piccies in your album, you look great in your kilts.
It's not withdrwal tho' - promise.
5 years with no trews, well that's a worthwhile goal.
With broadband Hamish will be back with a vengence!

Thanks for the kind words, Graham!
P.S. I envy all who have satelite or broadband, unfortunately it's not available to me yet here in Backwater, USA.
