Graduation ceremony and colors, need some advice...
Hi, and happy new year to all of you,
I come to you for a question concerning a suit, and particularly the choice of colors for my graduation ceremony's suit...
The things I'm sure of:
- I have only one kilt, a "Heavyweight black shadow tartan" kilt.
- I have a pair of black kilt hose, which I plan on wearing, especially because the only other pair that I have is white, and it would draw too much attention to the fact that I only have "traditional" suit shoes, not Ghillie Brogue...
- I'm going to wear a Prince Charlie jacket;
- I'm going to wear a bow tie, and an adapted shirt with cufflinks;
The things I must still decide:
- I'm buying a Sghian Dubh, not sure of the color yet, but probably blue, so the "matching color" I'll be talking about will be matching this.
- I need your advice on wether wearing flashes in "Black Shadow tartan" or "matching color"
- I need your advice on the colors of the shirt and bow tie. I want one of them to be in "matching color", and the other to be black (preferred) or white. The question is: colored shirt and black bow tie, or the contrary?
I'll be ordering everything in a few days, so I need quick answers ! Thank you for your time and your help !
Patrick
