I am seeking the advice of the rabble - many of you have been wearing and accessorizing kilts for quite some time and will have first-hand experience with what goes well with what. I'm purchasing a balmoral to wear with my new Jones Modern kilt, but I will also wear it with other attire. I'm likely to use it as a cold weather hat, which means everything from jeans and a flannel shirt to dress slacks and a sport coat. I tend to wear neutral colors - greys and earth tones.

I appreciate the advice and comments of all and sundry.

So, the colors I am considering: maroon, dk. green, dk. khaki, desert tan.
