    No you cant make it up, it happens. Similar experience I had was leaving from Missouri to Seattle WA for a climb on Mt Baker. I had about 3LBs of hearty home made granola in my carry on bag. This stuff is dense being made of honey, molassas, peanut butter and all the grains, nuts and fruit. They had to run this stuff through their scanner at least three times. I told them I could open it and eat it if they wanted. I just had a good laugh at it all and a good climbing story before we ever got to the mountain.

    Oh, I don't know, a Haggis that hasn't been pricked can be fairly hazardous!

    The incident makes for a great story, though but seriously, though, I'd sooner the security folks erred on the side of safety - even if it does result in a few red faces!
