Calling on ALL pipers for help!!!
Please help! My band, Uncle Hamish and the Hooligans, is badly in need of a new piper. We are a "weekends only" band that does this first for the music and second for the money (although, the money is usually good) Unfortunatly, we don't have a bigpiper tree here in Asheville NC that I can just go to for another piper but we're close enough to Hickory, Charlotte nc Johnson City, Knoxville TN for an every other week commute. Im reaching out to this community for your help and any help will be appreciated!

Have you sent messages to the Knoxville Pipes and Drums, City of Chattanooga Pipe Band, St. Andrew's University and/or the Citadel?
While I am a piper - at least, so my PM tells me (I'm still struggling with dance tunes at tempo - e.g., jigs, reels, strathspeys and hornpipes) - 6+ hours is a bit fur to commute.

Hey John, yes and no. Our current piper is from Chattanooga but the distance is proving to be too much. Gonna call Grandfather Mountain pipes and drums and see if there is anyone there. Thanks for responding.

I sure wish I loved closer to you! But I'm in Los Angeles!
