New York Tartan Day Parade April 5, 2014

The New York Tartan Day Parade will step off at 2:00 PM from 45th Street and 6th Ave.
I'll be marching again with the Clan Buchanan. This is a fun event and we often meet up before the parade for some food and grog. Not as big as the St. Patrick's Day Parade but a lot more colorful!

Just a bump for this thread as I've seen several mentions in various threads from other members who will be attending this event.
I will be at the Perfect Pint, 123 W 45th St, just off 6th Ave around 1:00 PM before the parade. If you are of a mind just look for me in the Buchanan kilt. The Parade kicks off at 2:00 PM just a block away.
Note: For the purist, we used to go to the St. Andrews Pub up on 46th but we have found it to be just too crowded the last few years and the Perfect Pint is a really nice pub.

It looks to be a great event this year! We have a Macpherson contingent that marches every year. I hope to make it sometime soon! It would be wonderful to return to New York City. Perhaps even pop in at Brooks Brothers' flagship store on Madison Avenue and do a wee bit of shopping for Kinloch Anderson/Brooks Brothers items. The best of both worlds!
