Tartan Day Celebration by the Scottish Memorial in Philadelphia

A few pictures of the (very small) event as well as a video recording of the speeches:

    Rocky, Rick and Ian

    Changing of the FLags

Roughly 1/3 the audience watching the flag changing

    The Memorial:

    Rocky's Speech

Rocky's Speech (which is after Drew McGhie's speech on the video)

    Nicely done.
Didn't know about it, else I might have been able to join in.
To be perfectly honest, I didn't even know we had a memorial.
That looks like it's close to Penn's Landing?

edit: Never mind, now I just the read the announcement thread. double

    Yes. Yes, it is.

It's a bit "over the top" for most events, but I figured that TARTAN day would be a perfect event to break it out of the closet. :-)
