Kilted up to celebrate my birthday

Last night I donned my kilt (cilt) and with my wife and son walked over to a great restaurant overlooking the San Diego bay to celebrate my birthday. The waiter came to the table and said, "I have to ask..." I replied, "exactly what do you have to ask?" He got a bit flustered with the response. I did explain about being a Presbyterian clergyman, etc. but finally said, "It's my birthday and I like to wear my kilt." I finished the evening sharing a wee dram with my neighbor and fellow Naval Officer (who is now interested in getting a kilt after telling him about the Navy tartan). It was a good birthday.
