    Renting an Argyle

I need to rent for my son, for his wedding, a black Argyle jacket. He has his kilt etc. A PC would be over the top[, it is not THAT formal a wedding. The wedding is June 22. We had an arrangement for a jacket but it has fallen through. Does anyone in the rabble have any ideas?

What size does he need? Must it be black or would a dark blue work? You never know what the rabble might come up with. . .

    Geoff,
I have a black Barathea wool Argyle jacket with silver buttons in what I believe is a 44R, as it does not have any tags and congratulations on your son's upcoming nuptials.

He is 51" in his chest measurement. He and I will be the only ones in jackets, and I suspect no one care if it's dark blue or black. Dark blue will work with the Davidson tartan in any case.

I'd check on eBay, you could likely get one fairly quickly for a reasonable price and end up at around the same price as renting.... The added bonus is it can be worn again making it a good value.
