    Got my 2nd kilt

We went to the St. Louis Renaissance Faire on Saturday. We had a good time. As much as I could with having been up for 24 hours straight. Came across a vendor selling kilts and accessories there. They are Midwestern Kilts from Kansas City. They had loads of kilts there and actually had several in my tartan of MacLaren. They were mostly kilts of the acrylic variety but still looked awfully nice. Found one that fit and decided to buy it. Pictures to follow. Had a grand time talking with the owner and his wife.

Why it won't let me delete off the rotated images I don't know. And how they got rotated Idk. The picture was fine until I uploaded it and then I noticed it was rotated. 3 tries later it finally let me upload without it laying down. So if anyone can tell me why or how to delete off the rotated images it would be appreciated. Thanks

As I've lost weight, my kilts have "outgrown" me. I haven't wanted to spend big bucks on replacements. So, I bought a Kilt from Midwestern Kilts -- ordered on-line -- and I feel like I got a great deal for the money. The only problem is it too is outgrowing me. I found out when I measured it, it is about an inch larger than the label says. The straps are short, not a lot of adjustment. If you should order from Midwestern Kilts, I'd advise ordering a size smaller than you think you might need, especially if you're losing weight. I did talk with the owner on the phone. He seems a great guy. He's traced his Scottish roots all the way back to the first human settlement. I suggest giving him a call before ordering to discuss any size issues you might have. The kilt I ordered seems bulkier in the waist than a Scottish-made tank of Lochcarron Strome weight that's been uncooperative and outgrown me too.

As Matty Ross questioned, the tartan of that kilt is not MacLaren. From the Scottish Register of Tartans. http://www.tartanregister.gov.uk/tar....aspx?ref=2594

Nice looking kilt, but it looks a bit like the Stewart Hunting Modern to me.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Yes you are right. Oh well. I wanted one of those too. I still need my MacLaren kilt for the wedding. I guess I will need to order it next payday.

Maybe you should advertise them on here for sale. Or start hitting Krispy Kreme?
