Let someone's loss, be someone's gain
I would like to sub-title this "Pay it forward - yet again".
Exactly two years ago a man came into my shop and asked if I would take his kilt on consignment.
I have called the number he left and left messages on his machine.
I have sent emails to the address which he left and had no answers.
I can safely say that this kilt has been abandoned.
So here is the deal.
This kilt must go to someone who could not other wise afford it. A young person, a student, someone just starting out.
I would prefer that this kilt go to someone who is new or who perhaps can only dream of owning a wool hand-sewn kilt.
I would prefer this go to an X Marks member or close relative of a member.
If you already have a wool hand sewn kilt pass this by and give someone else a chance.
The Tartan is MacBean, Ancient version.

Pleated to The Sett. This is, as far as I can, tell totally hand stitched.

The fabric is labelled as woven by Lochcarron and appears to be 16oz weight.

The kilt is in good, used condition. There are no holes and no damage that I can find.
This kilt does not have a stabilizer and the interfacing is the old canvas style in three pieces.
This kilt does have some sweat stains on the lining but has been recently cleaned.

The particulars -
Waist measured so that the outer apron just overlaps the under apron. = 37"
This is the third of four holes in the 2 straps.
This could easily go down to 34" by moving the straps and buckles as the aprons are 17" wide.
Hip circumference = 39"
Drop = 23" plus a 2" Rise. This kilt is 25" overall length.
Double Fringe

This is going to be a great starter kilt for someone.
Now, here is the painful part.
You have to pay the shipping!!!!!!
If you could use this kilt, or know someone who could, please let me know via PM.
