Chris George from Baltimore and Liverpool, UK
Hello everyone
This is Christopher T. George, an English ex-pat living in Baltimore, Maryland. I am a War of 1812 and general military historian, poet, essayist, Ripperologist etc. I wrote the Bicentennial history for the St. Andrew's Society of Baltimore. Below are a couple of pics of when the book came out a few years ago. I'm the guy with the pen signing the autoraphs.
I have Irish on my mother's side -- Matchett, from Newry, Northern Ireland, and Clan Gunn on my father's side, although I grew up in Liverpool, England and am a staunch Liverpool FC and England fan (time for tears here, given the Three Lions' dire showing in Brazil Boo hoo).
I also have to report that I am a fraud because I don't own a kilt, although might be persuaded into a Clan Gunn kilt quite possibly with some persuasion. In fact, can someone manage to get me into one before the St. Andrew's Society of Batimore's annual St. Andrew's Dinner coming up at the end of this year?
Best regards
Chris

Oysters on the half shell at the same event!

I sign my autograph. It is pitiful really, ha ha -- what I won't do to sell a book!
