Today I was running errands. I was going to my favorite tea shop for my cafiene fix. I walked across the street and a woman on a cell phone whispered loudly to me "nice kilt". I turned around and bowed and mouthed "Thank You, so I would not interrupt her phone call.
Later, I was getting provisions and saw the daughter of a patient of mine. She asked "what's with..." I replied, "It's comfortable and I can." Her smile was priceless!
It is a bit of a shock when someone who only knows you as a professional in trousers sees you in a kilt. I love the expressions.

And, thank God for body glide.

It's those lassies speaking from the heart that makes it all worth while, isn't it. It lifts your chin and puts a bit of a bounce in your step. 8) Oh sure, kilts are comfortable and all of that... but this is the frosting on the cake".
