Games and Pipe Band Competition Angelbachtal 2014

Hello Guys,

since 9 years there are Highland Games and band competitions in the very lovely park of Angelbachtal castle near Heidelberg which is about 80 km from my place.
This year we managed to go there .

Here are some pictures. The weather was great but to sunny for my mobile camera sometimes...so all band pics are too blurry.
A very nice day...and a band from round my corner made it

Great pics Tom, I must try to get to Angelbachtal some year. Just come back from Nuernberg last Wednesday and going there again next weekend.

Yeah, it is an interesting place to go. Very nice area.
Oh...in Germany again. We'll be in Scotland from the 5th to 15th.... :-)

We visit Nuernberg several time per year, and expect to be in Nuernberg over the weekends of 2/3 August and 16/17 August and then back again in December for the Christkindlmarkt.
If you are in Scotland from 5th to 15th August maybe we will meet up, feel free to send me a PM with your itinerary. My stepdaughter from Ebermannstadt in Fraenkische Schweiz will be staying with us from 3rd till 16th August.
